Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are looking the sign City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho according to the MailOnline.

It is likely that City will be expecting a sum of around £20m for Dortmund to acquire the player in the summer.

Iheanacho seems to have moved down the pecking order in recent months at City, this due to the arrival of Gabriel Jesus and of course Sergio Aguero.

Southampton and Hoffenheim have also expressed interest, with City turning down due these being loan enquiries.

It stands to reason that Kelechi Iheanacho would do well at Dortmund, especially with Aubameyang in high demand. The youngster could easily be granted more game time at the German side, obviously aiding in the development of the player.

Man City will more than likely be hoping to add a buy-back clause in the contract, should the poacher impress at Dortmund.

The 20-year-old will be wanting to play his best at whatever club, and less game time at City will certainly hinder his doing of this.

A lot of fans see this move as good for the striker who believe he will develop into a great striker; with a buy-back clause inserted City could reap the benefits in the coming years.
